William Howard Taft (1857-1930), President and Chief Justice of the U.S. In 1882, he was appointed collector of internal revenue for Cincinnati. Taft signs these 4 United States Distillery Warehouse Stamps with engraved portrait of Zachary Taylor. Hole cancelled signature (there are 4 signatures of Taft on this sheet). Interesting and Rare!!! This sheet of 4 is in great condition. It has a corner bend on the top right corner. This can't be seen in the photo because my scanner was too small and missed about 1/2 inch on the top of this sheet and about 1/2 inch off the bottom.
