    "If you are a radio fanatic like me then you will know exactly what I'm about to post. My vehicle has nine NMO type mounts which have of course nine different antennae for different frequencies. But it is a disaster waiting to happen if you, need to go thru a car wash. I have to remove all nine antenne which exposes the contact area of the mount. These "rain caps" not only cover but seal the mount from external contamination using a rubber ring on the base. You can remove the antennae put on the caps and leave them on for extended periods of time knowing the mounts are protected."
