Please have a look at all of my current listings. They are part of my 50 plus years of collecting to be listed over the coming weeks and months. My collection includes Antique items such as Scientific Instruments, Radios, Bottles, Barometers, Surveying Instruments, Prohibition (and Pre-Prohibition) Whiskey, Art, Books, etc. Let me know if you have any specific needs and I will list them. ENJOY!!!Here we have a well built one tube radio. For lack of a better description I would call it cute and tidy. It is well executed and I do not know if it is a kit, factory or simply homemade. My GUESS is kit for what it is worth. If it is homemade the builder really thought the thing out well. I would have put my name on it had I built it for sure. I have not powered it up and it has sat on my shelf or in a box for well over 20 years. The wiring is well executed and tight. I really like the matching four feet on the bottom made from thumb screw posts (nice touch). All of the wiring thumb screw posts are marked. The Pacent rheostat / resistor tests good as does the unmarked coil. The unmarked tuning capacitor turns freely and seems fine. The Chas. Freshman Co. capacitor tests good as well. It has a standard unmarked tube base with a Frost Radio No. 611 tube adapter holding a RCA UV-199 tube. The tube is untested other than good continuity across the A voltage pins and it glows when powered in a tube re-generator for what that is worth. My tube tester is buried in a box somewhere and when I find it I can start testing them again. It has always been a display item for me. The unit measures 8" wide X 6" deep. Hard to let this little guy go.
Sold as is. Return only if not as described and shown in photos. No Overseas Shipping at this time. I am still fully employed and overseas shipping consumes too much time and can create issues. Thanks.
