Antique Spark Gap and Spark Coil Combo Early Radio

Nice ceramic base spark gap attached to a spark coil.  Both are unmarked.  The coil has "Pat. Apld. For" stamped into the top (hard to read) and its case is made out of oak.  The spark gap base measures roughly 5.5" X 2.5" and stands 2.5" tall.  The spark coil base measures roughly 7" X 4" and stands 4" tall.  Not sure who made either but I would guess the coil is from an old hit and miss engine or the like.  I have not tested it or tried to use it.  Has been on display or packed away for years.  Everything is there and in its place as per photos.  Heavy item.
