Description

Description
This is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side.
It is made of walnut and is painted.
The center section is recessed, there was a mirror at the top (missing) with a marble top washstand and 3 piece backsplash below.
The bottom has a drawer with a small cabinet below, the door parts are there but will need put together.
To either side are doors, each having 2 raised panels at the top and bottom with fluted flat panels in the middle.
There is a drawer below each door.
The 4 legs are fluted with ornate corbels at the top.
The pediments have flat sawn moldings with nice shaped crowns.
Magnificent piece.
It measures 98 inches wide by 105 inches tall by 21 deep.
It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck.
This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or outside sides.
Overall it is in good condition.  There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning.
There is a broken molding between the washstand and drawer. 3 of the drawers are not original and 2 have the faces only. The cabinet doors will need to be put back together. It will need some TLC but it is in good overall condition. Please look at the pictures carefully.

Terms of Sale
I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
About Us
My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting.  Steve and Michelle
