Certificate
San Francisco. Certificate is hand-signed by listed artist Mihran Kevork Serailian as President, who was a friend of Luther Burbank and did a number of botanical illustrations for him. Unique vignette with grapes and a basket of fruit. Low serial #20, issued to Serailian for 20,000 shares on March 2, 1908. This would be 1/10 of the entire issue of 200,000 shares! Rare and scarce!
Mihran Kevork Serailian was born in Caesarea, Armenia on November 9, 1867. Having spent a considerable time in Egypt, he arrived in Boston in 1892 and then accepted a position to teach in Indiana at Taylor University. He settled in San Francisco in 1900. He was a good friend of Luther Burbank and did many botanical illustrations for him. His works include landscapes, florals and portraits.  Exhibitions: Bruner's Gallery (Santa Rosa), 1910; City of Paris (San Francisco), 1924; Hotel Huntington (Pasadena), 1926.  During the 1930's, he worked in New York City with his wife Marie.  He died in San Francisco on Sept. 7, 1957.

Shipping within the U.S. is by USPS First Class Mail (.00 for packages weighing 13 ounces or less) – shipping for packages weighing over 13 ounces will be shown on your invoice. If another shipping method is requested, a revised invoice will be sent.
